Easy being green

Green: the natural color. A color that is hard to recreate in paintings. A color that is easy to take for granted. The color of grass.
The color of Wisconsin in the summer.
A good camouflage color for a small cloud forest moth.
A color that has an affinity for blues.
A color that comes in many shades and loves purple.

Hi Grand Purl Baa,
I made it quite some time ago. You can see it in it's entire glory on Ravelry on my project page for Motmot in the Forest

Hi Carol, I'm back from wonderful green Wales and Yorkshire. I love your photo's, they remind me of these places.
But how on earth did they manage to get the grass to stick to the bikes?

They used a Scotch brand spray adhesive. I noticed that they kept spritzing the bikes while they were in the sun. It looked like a very labor intensive project! And people think knitters are patient...Thanks for your kind words and I'm glad you had a good trip.
